PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — A car rammed through a fence at Pensacola International Airport and onto a runway Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
Police say the driver, Zane Alexander Carlson, did donuts after crashing through to the Pensacola Airport. He’s been arrested and taken to jail charged so far with trespassing and criminal mischief. They don’t believe alcohol was a factor and they didn’t find any weapons. But police say the driver drove across two active runways and did donuts in the area. Police say he got out of the car and ran but was caught and arrested by Sgt. Maria Landy. There were no planes on the runway at the time. The nearest one arriving was two miles away.
