Florida Georgia Line Thinks The Timing Is Right For New Musical Ventures

Just about a month ago Florida Georgia Line announced the arrival date of their new album, Life Rolls On.

Sharing with fans that the new project will be out February 12th, the duo also sent the message “This year has been a wild ride and if there’s one thing we’ve learned, you have to keep your head up high. This new music truly represents where we are in our lives right now and we can’t wait for y’all to hear it.”

In a New Year’s zoom message Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard announced that fans can expect even more music from them.

They posted a nearly 10 minute video explaining that not only are they excited about the new album coming out, and a possible tour in 2021 (depending on COVID conditions), but they also shared that they have each been each working on their own musical projects.

Tyler shared “You know, we never made a video for our fans…let’s just chat with our fans for a second, let’s fill them in on everything going on in FGL’s world and our personal world, cause there’s a lot going on. We want to make sure our truth is out there for you guys.”

Brian continued “Having some extra time this year, being in a pandemic year…a lot of uncertainty and a lot of extra time…did a lot of soul searching and I took some time off of writing songs…didn’t know what I was searching for…kind of where I landed was falling in love with my guitar, and writing songs again, even more than ever.”

Brian went on to explain that he and Tyler have had conversations over the last several years about the possibility of creating their own music. As he wrote and created new music during last summer and fall, Brian thought “Maybe, I think I’m suppose to sing these, and probably have a project or an outlet for these to come out on.”

So, 2021 could be the year of music from Brian, Tyler AND Florida Georgia Line, as the guys say that this freedom to create music together and apart allows them to explore every avenue of their music personality, but it also does not mean the end of their musical partnership.

The two support one another with these new projects as they feel the timing is right, and as Brian says “This year has been crazy wild, and I think there’s nothing more important for both of us, and everybody listening, to honor your life’s calling, honor your creativity when the timing’s right”

Tyler added “We’ve kind of created this freedom around ourselves to where we can do whatever we want to do, creatively and musically, so it’s a lot of fun.”

The two posted the video in an effort of being transparent with their fans, because they wanted to get this exciting information out about about the new projects, but they also didn’t want an misinformation floating around either, because this is NOT the end of FGL at all.

For them, it’s just having the ability to “venture out and have a voice of their own.”
