Kelsea Ballerini reflects on her missed opportunity over going on a date with Craig Conover on Southern Charm, joking that the incident still haunts her. During an appearance on Cosmopolitan’s “Cheap Shots” game show, Ballerini was asked about the incident, and shared the backstory. She unintentionally found herself on the Bravo reality show’s set while performing her early single, “Love Me Like You Mean It,”  at a radio event on a boat, which led to her bidding for a date with Conover at an auction. Despite the comical mishap, Ballerini clarified that the date never happened, as it was won by someone at the radio station for charity. The country singer emphasized that everything turned out well in the end, as she is currently in a relationship with Outer Banks actor Chase Stokes, which started after she initiated contact with him via DMs in January 2023.
